ECORESET S.A., as a partner in the CRUSADE project, represented by the company’s General Manager, Mr. Spyros Karamoutsos, participated in the General Assembly held on April 21–22, 2026, in Istanbul, hosted by Ford Otosan.
CRUSADE, now in its 28th month of implementation, is an innovative European project funded by the Horizon Europe program (2024–2027), with the aim of developing advanced technologies for the recovery of critical raw materials from end-of-life vehicle (ELV) components and waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). The methods developed within the framework of the program focus on materials such as copper (Cu), cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), manganese (Mn), lithium (Li), as well as other precious metals (Pt, Pd, Rh, Ru), with the goal of producing up to 40 tons of critical raw materials annually from 500 tons of waste.
Through its participation in research activities related to CRMs from an industrial perspective, ECORESET is strengthening its expertise and contributing to the sector’s presence in the effort to conserve resources throughout the waste management value chain.
